This set of Matryoshka dolls is completely handmade and unique. Each single doll is made of natural wood (linden tree). They are all mostly painted with tempera and richly decorated with golden leaf. The dolls are usually covered with 4-6 layers of lacquer.
On this Matryoshka some of the numerous amazing sights of Saint Petersburg are depicted. Every one of them is remarkable to anybody visiting this marvelous city.
