A copy of the “Napoleon Egg”. The original was made in 1912 for the 100-year anniversary of the Civil war. The egg had a surprise – a divider with six miniatures, depicting the representatives of regiments, the honorable colonel being the Empress herself. The first owner was the Empress Maria Fyodorovna (a wife of Alexander III). The original is held in an art museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
